Caught Between two Worlds

See I'm the gal caught between two worlds: wanting just a simple life where love is found in tender kisses, breakfast made for two lined under an oak tree; Lunch in a field of lilies by a babbling brook, silly giggles just because...

Then there's the sky scrappers, jazz that line the streets, spoken word on every stage, improvers drawing from my life, oh the shows! Most of all I’m mesmerized by the peoples going by...Why Choose?...it's your life Live it!

Dear John

I give myself permission to forgive you...Now I write this letter to say thank-you for coming into my life…so what I’ve poured my heart out and shared with you personal details and intimate secrets shared with no other…I’d do it all over again! Why? I took a risk! If I hadn't taken the chance I wouldn't have met you and because of you…I‘ve grown stronger and wiser.

I can only hope you have taken a piece of my peace that comes from the spirit that dwells within! BUT (which changes everything) know you've left me intact (body, mind, and spirit). You took your baggage back with you…I didn't own it and you over looked opportunities to unpack or resolve them. Unfortunately, you still carry the weight upon your back. But know His yoke is easy and His burden is light! However, I likened this season "covenant" where there was an intertwining of: truth, honesty, sacrifice, sincerity, and sharing. Most people prefer relationships of convenience because it doesn't require them to make scarifies and commitment...although they believe within themselves they are actually going out of their way to fulfill and make and such a relationship or covenant but in essence they have missed the mark out of fear of losing themselves… the only way to find yourself is to first lose it Christ...how then can you know what your worth

I know this applies to you

A good woman is proud of herself. She respects herself and others. She
is aware of who she is.

She neither seeks definition from the person she with, or
does she expect them to read her mind. She is quite capable of articulating her needs.

A good woman is hopeful. She is strong enough
to make all her dreams come true. She knows love,
therefore she gives love.

She recognizes that her love has great value and must be reciprocated. If
her love is taken for granted, it soon disappears.

A good woman has a dash of inpiration, a dabble of endurance.

She knows that she will, at times, have to inspire others to reach the potential God gave them.

A good woman knows her past, understands her present and moves toward the future.

A good woman knows God. She knows that with God the world is her play-ground. But without God she will just be played.

A good woman does not live in fear of the future because of her past. Instead, she understands that her life experiences are merely lessons meant to bring her closer to self-knowledge and unconditional self-love.

Girl Smile! You know have it going on...so keep on keeping on

Knowing People

Nothing is harder to see into than people's natures. Good or Bad the conditions and appearances are not always insinct. Some people are nice yet they still steal...some people appear to show respect on the surface but inside are making a mockery of others. Some people are brave on the outside but inwardly they are cowards...Some people do their best BUT are still not loyal...So then how can you really know someone...1st question them about right and wrong and observe their ideas...2nd exhaust all their arguments and see how they change...3rd bring about strategy to see how perceptive they are...4th challenge them with trouble to see how brave they are...5th find a way to observe their nature...6th present them with the prospect of gain to see how modest they are...7th give them a task to do within a specific time to how trustworthy they are.

Joy

Joy is a choice not what you have to live on but what you live for. Joy does come in the morning when the darkness is over and it's harvest time: Learn to enjoy the journey no matter what the journey may bring.

Unshakeable Joy: A Joy that never depends on your circumstances
Things can't bring you happiness...if you sow in tears you will reap in Joy.

The Joy of the Lord is my strength...enter into the Joy of the lord

You can get Bitter or you can get Better! Joy is developed through reconciliation (reconciliations to retore harmony)Find a way to keep your Joy through trials and tribulations.

Joy is found in right relationship...producing fruit is the direct product of having a right relationship with God.

Joy is learned in responsiblities...face the risk Don't run from the risk of life's responsiblities!

Joy is found in the Journey!
J. Jesus first O. others second Y. yourself last

Beyond, Beyond

Now believe (to have confidence in the truth, the existence, or the reliability of something, although without absolute proof that one is right in doing so) FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE, unattainable, unimaginable, inconcievable! How...Ask through Pray with action and trust without doubt remove all pride...Guard your tongue and "boldy go where no one has ever gone before" Beyond, Beyond!

"The Distance of Hope" by Tempestt Ariel Newton 10th grade

What I yearn for in life is not always near
But as I live my life, I live no fear
I soar on wings of faith and rise into brighter skies
Waking up each day and waling by the grace of God
Expecting to see the greatness that awaits me
Daily fulfilling my destiny set before me
What has been predetermined for me is simply for me
My heart leaps with joy
My soul sings praises
My spirit breaks free from all burdensome cages
Emancipated to release God's glory
My life will testify just as the generations before
Leaving a legacy not temporary but everlasting and legendary
To successfully establish this majestic journey
Breathing life to embark on The Distance of Hope

INTEGRITY IN LEADERSHIP

How can a leader “lead” without integrity? Integrity is the essence of leadership. It is the foundational truth upon which your very existence should be built. Integrity is an essential building block to life and leadership. “Upon this rock I build my church…” Jesus said we are the church and our very existence “building blocks” are formed on “rocks” unmovable, stable, and not shifting. If such is the case as He has taught us then we should begin to promote our thoughts to meet our actions. So we can achieve the ultimate results. In his word he said, “as a man thinketh so he is” Therefore if our thoughts are in line with our actions we will get what we think about. In addition if our thoughts are pure and just we can effectively influence our behaviors. God also said, “Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus” If we trust the mind of Christ we are made in His image. We then should begin to think, speak, and walk as he did. Jesus’ words were His law. If He said it He thought it to past, Being made in the image and likeness of Jesus commands us to be like Him. We should have the integrity that Jesus did by having our words match our deeds.
Although Maxwell says “Image is what people think we are. Integrity is what we really are.” Jesus’ words always backed up what He said his followers were able to not only identify with Him but grow in trust. Trust is earned and I believe is synonymous with integrity. The leadership of Jesus epitomized the very essence of integrity. The first of seven principles to having integrity is that a leader must develop trust among his followers. Jesus managed to establish His trust by keeping close to the twelve disciples whom He had chosen. They followed him even after His death as they continued to lead in the same manner as Christ.

The Myth of Failing Schools

Parents let your voice be heard...learn more about what's happening to your child! You have the power to change it!

The Myth of Failing Schools

Bravery

Bravery....

Starts in the heart of a man shh...
be-careful not to listen to the Mind
for it does lie and it will deceive

The Heart answers the call of duty...briskly calming
ALL fears~The Mind is the beast that scatters
you to-and-fro with its Mindless chatter that
keeps you at bay...forsaken only yourself

Take cover from the Mind in the arms of your Heart...it knows the way

It's Over!

My sabbatical is finally over and I can now share with you the J.O.Y., pangs, frustrations, anguish, distrust, deafening periods of silence, loneliness with a room full of people, deceptions yet standing in integrity, honesty that developed growth, hatred that hangs on despite the face of forgiveness, the weakness of strength, love that holds on by the spindle of a web, a mother's never ending love, total acceptance, the inspiring growth of a young father and son relationship, brothers' maturation, restoration of childhood friendship, and complete trust in GOD.... I know its a lot but I hope to tell you something about them all and more. I won't comprise the truth. But please try to remember this is the way they happened to me. These are my views and perceptions. Perhaps in your thought process you may see or hear something else; please share. I welcome it. The most important concept is that we learn, internalize, and grow. If we aren't growing then we are dead...

Hence a growth experience...

Have you ever gone through periods in your life when you had no one to talk to or so you thought. Well I have. Here's a scene: You pick up your phone and stroll through the contacts list but not one name jumps out at you or you call someone and they brush you off or they don't answer (perhaps not meaning to). You know your not depressed because you are functioning with all your capacities. You just want conversation. Or perhaps there were people around but you don't feel like you could share what was on your heart or mind with them. How many of you know that this can be challenging? But as I listened to the still small voice on the inside I began to hear that I was not alone but there will be times of loneliness in order to hear Him more clearly. This was a necessary process throughout my sabbatical and my life.

Pruning may hurt but it promotes beauty, allows room for growth and aids in longevity. yyn

I will talk with you soon...thanks for listening

Just Ask For It...

If you want to know the truth go to the source. When children of God, stays in the word He will hide no good thing from them. What we fail to realize is that it's God's ultimate plan to give us the desires of our heart but it will require changes. Bottom line if what you have been doing hasn't been working, it doesn't mean that you keep doing the same thing it means that you should do something else! Yes, my beloved the only thing constant is change. If you desire the new home, car, job, promotion, husband, wife, baby or a closer walk with God. Consider what you've been doing...When someone gives you a ride in their car do offer them money for gas to help out?... Do you show up for work early and give more than what's required of you or do you just do enough?...Do you try to know who God is or do you only call on Him in the time of need?...How does your home look RIGHT now?...are you taking care of what God has already blessed you with?...How do treat other people's children?..How are treating that man or woman that God has brought into your life or those from your past is there unforgivenes you can't move forward to love if your bound?...Do you know He can't bless you with more if He can't trust you with little? You have to be faithful in the small things before he will take you to the BIG things! Begin to pray and ask God for grace, faith, courage and strength to fulfill the will of God for your life and for boldness and confidence to create the change necessary for a renewed mind my beloved. I have been where you are...sixteen years ago I wanted a new home. I began to get up every morning to see my husband off to work, drive my daughter to school, walk my sons to the bus stop, run with the dog, return home and began to clean, remodel, and decorate the house from top to bottom every day for three years. Trusting, believing, transforming me, forming lasting healthy habits, and building a sanctuary in my living-room. Our rewards were greater than gaining a home beyond our expectations...we gained a greater understanding of purpose...

Pregnant with purpose

It doesn't matter what it looks like God has a plan for your life...so don't give up now. Stay strong you've come too far to give up now. You are not lost.He will see through to the end IF you faint not. But you have to be careful who you tell it to and what you do. Because you can abort it. It's locked in your subconscious...

Close your eyes. Can you remember the dream that kept you alive when you had hope to believe?
The anticipation kicks your heart into over drive! Your imagination plumits!
Pull out the IPAD...Blackberry...pen...paper...
OMG...I'll tell Facebook...

No wait! its a dream Perhaps I should

keep it to myself
